The design of the deer is often seen in Peyote art together with corn, fans, snakes and symbolic representations of the Peyote plant. In many cultures, the deer, the sacred corn and Holy Peyote are regarded as the food of choice. Corn feeds humans as well as deer, just as corn and deer nourish humans. The Holy Sacrament Peyote is the spiritual food that nourishes the soul. The Deer is blue, a sacred color among many cultures and is the dominant color of planet Earth.
